| In a small village in Morocco, people used to gather around the sweet pleasant voice of their beloved Sheikh Abdelssalam El-Faqih. As soon as he starts to read Qur'an, tears fall from listeners who are touched by his sweet voice. No one from those who heard the voice of Sheikh Abdelssalam thought that anyone could inherit such unique talent after him. Until the family of sheikh Abdelssalam was honored with the birth of Abdelssalam El-Hassany; the grandson of Sheikh Abdelssalam. It was clear from the first minute of Abdelssalam El-Hassany's birth that he inherited a lot more than his grandfather's name; he inherited his talents and good traits. |

| The Journey's Beginning |
| Abdelsssalam El-Hassany was born in Morocco. His parentage goes back to El-Hassan Ibn Ali; Prophet Mohammed's grandson. So he is related to Prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him-. From an early age, he was known for his love to singing sophisticated meaningful songs away from light songs which were the popular trend among youth his age at that time. |
| Abdelssalam El-Hassany performed in a lot of artistic and cultural festivals both locally and internationally. He gained the audience's admiration and praise. His unique talent excelled in capturing people's hearts from the first minute. |
| Abdelssalam tried singing different styles until he traveled to Cairo to represent his country Morocco in Cairo International Festival for songs. His song which talked about the mother gained the attention of both the audience and the judges. |
| And from that day, an important shift happened in his artistic journey. He converted to spiritual singing. Instead of singing for people seeking fame and glory, he started singing for Prophet Mohammed-peace be upon him. |

| Abdessalam in Egypt |
| Abdelssalam decided to settle in Egypt where there is a lot of intimacy and passion of the hospitable people of Egypt. A lot of people come to listen to Abdelssalam, people from Cairo, Alexandria, Tanta and many other villages in Egypt where they spend their nights listening to Abdelssalam's beautiful voice. And as he converted to spiritual singing, he was close to beginning his own unique style of singing. A style which tenders hearts as it is not only religious singing, but more of humane singing which addresses the most deepest and truthful feelings in every human being. |
| Abdelssalam travled to different Continents; he visited the countries of East Asia, Africa, Gulf Countries and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has contributions in both the Radio and Television; Dream Satellite Channel produced more than 30 video clips of Abdelssalam's prayers in Ramadan 2001 and the "Road to allah" program in (2001-2002). He appeared in Mehwar Channel the night before Ramadan in the years of 2003, 2004 and 2005. He appeared on the Egyptian Satellite (Ramadan 2005) and Iqraa (2004-2005).the first channel hosted him in the night of Prophet Mohammed's birth (2003-2004), orbit (2004-2005), the radio of Lebanon (2003), FM radio station (Ramadan 2004). After these appearances, he became very popular in the Arab world. He has his own private sessions where he sings his gentle tones that make his audiences' hearts fly high. |
